On The Buses: The Complete Story
On the 3rd of October 2009 my first ever book went on sale. On The Buses: The Complete Story was published by Apex Publishing Limited retailing at £12.99p.
The book was launched at The London Transport Museum, Covent Garden, London and was attended by a host of actors, actresses and a co-creator of On The Buses. It was to be a memorable day for myself and one that I shall never forget.
The book covers a detailed biographies of the mainstream cast and its creators as well as the sitcom's producers and writers and has a wonderful foreword supplied by the creators of On The Buses - Ronnie Wolfe and Ronnie Chesney. A full episode synopsis of every episode and likewise for the three spin-off films is included along with a selection of photos of filming locations and details of those locations and the book is rounded off with a complete set of mini-biographies of every cast member that appeared in either the series or spin-off films. The book can be purchased at all leading book shops and here is a link:-
For photographs from the book launch there is a selection in the Gallery Section. Since the book launch I have undertook a number of interviews on radio stations across the UK from Bristol to Edinburgh and from the Isle of Wight to Glasgow. I also travelled to complete book signings across the UK taking in signings in London and as far north as St Andrews and many places in between. Although signings are now limited such as is the age of the book I still undertake signings and sell copies of the book at the Annual On The Buses Event in Borehamwood of which I am a proud organiser.
As of Friday the 1st of November 2013, On The Buses: The Complete Story has sold a total of just over 5,100 copies to date be that in hardback or e-book format.
Sales of On The Buses: The Complete Story now stands at a total of 5,159 to date which includes both hardback and e-book sales.

October last year saw the five year print-run of On The Buses: The Complete Story as a hardback come to an end. This meant that no new copies have been printed since that date. However, in 2016 the book may be about to return in paperback form in a new print-run for a further five years again under publication by Apex Publishing Limited. Watch this space for further news.
I can confirm that work is underway formatting the release and reprint in a new size of On The Buses: The Complete Story. Out of print since it's five year print run ended last October, the book will re-enter print this time in paperback format published by Apex Publishing Limited. As of yet I have no concrete release date but as soon as I have more details I will post them here.
On Sunday the 1st of November 2015 I can confirm that a further round of proofs has been sent back to Apex Publishing Limited for the reprint of On The Buses: The Complete Story. Unlike the first print run this edition will be available in paperback and the front/rear cover has had a redesign. The retail price in the UK looks like it will be £9.99p. Once the proofs have been cleared and I am happy then the book shall go to print. Watch this space for further details.
The On The Buses: The Complete Story manuscript has now been cleared to enter reprint. The book, once more to be published by Apex Publishing Limited is now in the hands of the printers and the paperback should be hitting bookshops in the next few weeks but at present I have no firm publication date as yet.
On Saturday the 21st of November 2015 the reprint of On The Buses: The Complete Story in paperback format is now available to pre-order at Amazon.
As of Thursday the 3rd of March 2016, On The Buses: The Complete Story has sold a total of 5,278 copies to date in hardback, paperback and e-book format.
